When it comes down to big releases in relation to the role playing genre of gaming one of the most popular titles of 2017 was Persona 5. Since its release Persona 5 has been critically acclaimed by many people as being a spectacular RPG title by various gaming publications such as IGN, GameSpot, Famitsu and others. Despite, its level of popularity Persona 5 has only remained exclusively on the PlayStation 3 & 4 since September 2016. There are many who wonder whether or not Persona 5 would as much success as it did if the game was released for the Nintendo Switch.

Ever since, the release of the original PS1 Persona game back in 1996 it seems like the series always had games that remained exclusively on PlayStation consoles. It seems like a tradition that Atlus has continued for over the past twenty years it dies not seem like something that the company plans on diverting from anytime soon. But if Persona 5 was a huge success on the PlayStation 4 then there is no doubt that it could as be just as popular on the Nintendo Switch as well.
