One of the biggest things about this year’s E3 event that many people were surprised about was the absent of various games such as Metroid Prime 4 and many others. Another game that everyone was counting on seeing this past June during the E3 event is Mortal Kombat 11. As everyone know the latest game in the series Mortal Kombat 10 was a huge success following its release back in April 2015. Since its release Mortal Kombat 10 has sold over 5 million copies worldwide and won numerous awards for being the best fighting title of 2015. Even though, there has not been much talk about a direct sequel for Mortal Kombat 10 as of late we know that at some point NetherRealm Studios will make some type of announcement regarding an upcoming Mortal Kombat game.

The Story for Mortal Kombat 10 had ended on a cliffhanger ending which has many people speculating whether or not Raiden will be one of the main villains for Mortal Kombat 11. In terms of development the Unreal Engine 4 will most likely be used for Mortal Kombat 11 since the Unreal Engine 3 was utilized in MK10. As far as a reveal trailer for E3 2019 is concerned it’s something that is still up in the air depending on much progress NetherRealm Studios has made in relation to the game’s development so far.
