As of right now everyone is looking forward to the upcoming Soul Calibur 6 game set to be released in on October 19th. One of the many questions that is one the minds of many people is whether or not this game will have more success than Soul Calibur 5 did following its release back in 2012. Since its release Soul Calibur 5 has managed to sell over 1.3 million units worldwide and was praised for its graphics along with its character creation mode. Despite not selling as much Soul Calibur 4 which reached over 2.3 million units in a short period of time Soul Calibur 5 was stil considered to be a solid fighting title that is worth checking out for those who are fans of the series.

As far as whether or not Soul Calibur 6 will surpass its prequel in terms of sales is questionable. But seeing the characters such as Sophita, Ivy, Nightmare and many other will be returning to Soul Calibur 6 there is no doubt that it will be just as successful as Soul Calibur 5 and might possibly surpass it in terms of sales.
