When it comes down to big 2D platform titles of the early 10’s one of the many titles that instantly comes to mind is Ubisoft’s Rayman Origins. For those who are unaware Rayman Origins was initially released back in 2011 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 along with the Nintendo Wii. Since its release Rayman Origins had received critical acclaim from various gaming publications such as IGN, Eurogamer and Nintendo Life for its graphics along with its fantastic level design. Ever since its release back in the early 10’s Rayman Origins has been ported to other game systems including The Nintendo 3DS, Microsoft Windows and the PlayStation Vita.

Seeing how popular Rayman Origins was as a 2D platformer back in the early 10’s there is no doubt that it would be an attraction on the Nintendo Switch as well. There has not been any talk of being Rayman Origins to the Nintendo Switch and we have yet to see a game from the series on the hybrid in general. Since 2D games seem to standout more on the Switch opposed to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One having a Rayman title on Nintendo’s latest console sounds like a great idea in theory.
