There are so many cool titles that have been featured on the Nintendo Switch since its initial release back back in March 2017. However, there are still some titles that many people would love to see on the hybrid console that has been available on numerous other game systems. As far as 2D side scrolling fighting titles are concerned one of few games that some believe deserve to be re-released in the Nintendo Switch is Messhof’s Nidhogg. For those who do not know Nidhogg was originally released back in 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita along with OS X.

This two player game is creative because it allows people to duel in 2D side scrolling environments while allowing them access to a online multiplayer mode. Nidhogg the feel of a modern day NES game with highly refined graphics gameplay making it a perfect title for the Nintendo Switch. As of right now there has not been much talk Messhof bring Nidhogg to the Nintendo Switch but there is no doubt that it would definitely stand out more on the hybrid console opposed to the PlayStation 4 or even Microsoft Windows.
