As many people may have heard Super Mario Party will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch a few months from now on October 5th. This upcoming Mario Party game is one that many people who are fans of the series have been waiting for since 2015. The latest game in the series Mario Party 10 was actually a success for the Nintendo Wii-U following its release over three years ago. Since its release Mario Party 10 has managed to sell at least 2.1 million copies worldwide for the Wii-U which is very impressive seeing how the console was arguably one of Nintendo’s least popular game systems in general.

Seeing how successful Mario Party 10 was on the Wii-U there is almost no question that Super Mario Party will sell more copies worldwide on the Nintendo Switch. With the inclusion of up to 80 mini-games along with a new in game mode such as Toad’s Rec Room Super Mario Party looks like it will be one of the hottest video games for the Nintendo Switch this upcoming Fall.
