It seems like the gaming world has been on fire as of lately since E3 2018 took place a few weeks ago. We have learned news about the upcoming release of various video games between now and 2019. However, the fact that there has been rumors going around about Google possibly releasing a new video game console in the near future is something that caught many people by surprise. In terms of what type of video game console that Google might give us is something that is still questionable. In fact, if Google were to enter the console wars right now it’s highly doubtful to some that the company would be able to hang with the likes of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.

However, Google has been very big name in technology since that late 90’s and could possibly rival companies such as Microsoft in popularity in this day and age. When Microsoft released their very first Xbox console in 2001 they were concerned a threat to both Sony and Nintendo which shows how much of an impact they made during the console wars. Maybe Google can do the same thing if they do decide to enter the console wars in the near future.
