When it comes down to Action-RPG’s from the 00’s that deserved a direct sequel one of the many titles that comes to mind is Rouge Galaxy. Rouge Galaxy was originally released in Japan as a PS2 exclusive before it came out in North America during 2007. Since its release Rouge Galaxy was praised by publications such as Famitsu for being an outstanding RPG title. The detailed gaming mechanics along with the cel-shaded graphics for Rouge Galaxy added to the game’s appeasing an Action-RPG. While a direct sequel to Rouge Galaxy would be awesome there has been no talk about the video game developer Level-5 Inc or Sony being interesting in making a sequel of any type.

Its been at least 12 years since Rouge Galaxy came out on the PlayStation 2. Despite, not having the same level of popularity like games such as Kingdom Hearts II there is no doubt that Rouge Galaxy was worth of a direct sequel. Recently, Akihiro Hino one of the directors who worked on Rouge Galaxy has recently completed Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom which was released back in March 2018. Finding out his take on the possibility of a Rouge Galaxy 2 would definitely be interesting.
