There is no doubt that Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most highly anticipated action adventure titles of 2018. As it currently stands Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to appear on the PlayStation 4 along with the Xbox One on October 26th. As exciting as this is there are some who question whether or not we will see Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Nintendo Switch. Despite, how cool it would be in theory to have Red Redemption 2 on the Switch it may not play too well in practice. That is not to say that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be a dud on the Nintendo Switch.

High profile action adventure games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 tend to stand out more on consoles such as the PS4 and the Xbox One mainly because first party games tend to overshadow everything else on on Nintendo based consoles. Also, it’s questionable whether or not the RockStar Advance Game Engine would work on the Nintendo Switch. However, there have been rumors floating around that RockStar Games plans on developing a remastered version of the original Red Dead Redemption game for the Nintendo Switch in the future. While both Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2 would most likely shine more on the PS4 and the Xbox One having both games ported for the Nintendo Switch would definitely be interesting.
