As many people know the Final Fantasy VII: Remake did not appear at E3 2018 which may come as a surprise to many people. Apparently, the Final Fantasy VII: Remake is still in development it looks like it will not be appearing on the PlayStation 4 anytime soon. However, there are some question whether or not the remake for the legendary RPG should be saved for Sony’s next generation console opposed to the PlayStation 4. There are many people who are speculating that Sony may not release the PlayStation 5 until 2020 or 2021. By then there is no doubt that Square Enix be ready to release the Final Fantasy VII: Remake.

In fact waiting to release the Final Fantasy VII: Remake for the PlayStation 5 would definitely make current PS4 owners buy the next generation console specifically for that game. However, there has been no question that Square Enix definitely want to have the Final Fantasy VII remake on the PlayStation 4 and making it available exclusively for the PlayStation 5 would not be such a good idea in the eyes of some critics. Also, there has been no talk or trailers about the PlayStation 5 at the E3 2018 and we still do not have an exact release date for the next generation game console.
