There was no doubt that E3 2018 was quite an impressive show as we saw so many cool trailers for upcoming games that are expected to be released between now and early 2019. When it comes down to RPG titles there were games such as Cyperpunk 2077, Fallout 76, Octopath Traveler along with Assassin’s Creed Odessey that caught many people’s attention. In fact those games have all been nominated for “Best RPG of E3 2018” which may not come as s surprise to some people.

However, many find it a bit shocking that Kingdom Hearts III was not included in the Best RPG category at E3 2018. Kingdom Hearts III is a highly anticipated action role playing game that people have waited to see since the mid 00’s. Despite, not being a nominee in the Best RPG of E3 2018 it was still featured in other categories. Kingdom Hearts III was still nominated in categories such as Best PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game of E3 which is a good thing. Kingdom Hearts III is viewed more as action based game and does not have as many RPG elements as other games that were nominated for Best RPG of E3 2018.
