There were so many exciting and unexpected reveals that we have seen so far at E3 2018. One of the most shocking announcements in terms of upcoming games was the remake of one of Capcom’s most popular games during the 90’s known as Resident Evil 2. As many people know Resident Evil 2 is a survival horror game that was originally released in 1998. Since its release Resident Evil 2 had ported to multiple game consoles including the PS1, Nintendo 64, GameCube along with Sega Dreamcast.

Resident Evil 2 received strong receptions from multiple gaming publications and is arguably one of the best titles within the series. The graphics and visuals in the trailer for the Resident Evil 2 remake look very impressive. The remake for Resident Evil 2 while have additional features such as a new camera along with a new and improved controls similar to that of Resident Evil 4. The Resident Evil 2 remake is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 along with Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on January 25th in 2019. It will be interesting to see how well the Resident Evil 2 remake does in terms of sales within its first month following its release.
