There have been many interesting developments in the gaming world as we progressed throughout 2018. As far as blockbuster announcements are concerned we just received one the other day regarding the upcoming release of a new Battletoads game for 2019. For those who do not know Battletoads was a side scrolling beat em up title that was created by Rare back 1991 for the NES.

Ever since the early 90’s Battletoads had declined in popularity mainly due to the fact that the beat em up genre of gaming started to lose its appeal. However, a new Battletoads game is something that retro gamers from the early 90’s are very exciting about especially since its been over two decades since the latest game was released. This upcoming Battletoads title is expected to have three player co-op similar to the arcade game which was released back in 1994. As of right now the exact release date for the upcoming Battletoads has not yet been revealed. Hopefully, as we progress throughout 2018 we will learn more about the new Battletoads game for 2019.
