If you were a fan of the top down arcade shoot em up genre of gaming back in the 80’s and early 90’s then you will be happy to know that the Tempest series is finally making a return. Tempest 4000 is an upcoming game developed by Liamasoft for the PS4, Microsoft Windows, along with the Xbox One. As of right now Tempest 4000 is expected to appear on the PS4 and the Xbox One in June 2018.

Not only are the visuals for Tempest 4000 stunning but the game is going to have soundtracks that are influenced by techno music from the 90’s. Players will be able to advance throughout geometric stages in order to destroy as many enemies as possible in order to achieve the highest scores possible. For those who are into retro shoot em up games Tempest 4000 is a title worth checking out next month on June 12th.
