As many people know the Atari VCS is set to appear in retail in near future. If you are a retro gamer and was a big fan of Atari games from the 70’s to the 90’s you will have a chance to enjoy classic titles from those time periods. However, the landscape of gaming is way more competitive now than it was back in the 70’s, 80’s or the 90’s. As far sales are concerned some are wondering how well the Atari VCS would do in comparison to consoles such as the SNES Classic, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One along with upcoming Mega Drive Mini console.

Its been a while since Atari has produced a major console but if the Atari VCS were to reach over one million in sales within a year it would be very impressive. Not to mention as far as the console wars are concerned it would make things very interesting in the gaming world overall.
