So far this year has been a very exciting one as far as gaming is concerned and things only seem line they are going to get better as we progress throughout 2018. Along with the upcoming release of Sonic Ages coming to various game consoles including the Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2018 it has also been confirmed that Sega plans on releasing a Mega Drive Mini console sometime this year.

Not only is the release of the Sega Mega Drive Mini is great news but it’s also appropriate that its debut falls on the console’s 30th Anniversary. As of right now an exact release date has not been confirmed for the Mega Drive Mini. However, it will be interesting to see what classic titles will be included in the Mega Drive Mini before its release later this year. Also, it will interesting to see whether or not if the Mega Drive Mini will have the same amount of success that the SNES Mini did following its release in Fall 2018.
