For those who are into retro side scrolling shooter titles you will be happy to know that Chasm is coming soon to the PS4 along with the PlayStation Vita. This 2D action adventure platform title was developed and published by Discord games and was started in Kickstarter years ago. Since the Kickstarter campaign for Chasm started the game managed to gain over 6,900 backers while raising approximately $191,897 in funding.

One of the most striking features about this game is the visual presentation. The 2D visuals looked like something you would see on a old PS1 game from the mid 90’s. In fact Chasm looks like a game that would definitely stand out on the NintendoSwitch just like many other 2D retro themed video games such as Stardew Valley. While there has been no announcement on Chasm coming to the Nintendo Switch its possible that somewhere down the inevit could end up becoming a reality. But as of right now Chasmis expected to be available for the PS4 and the PlayStation Vita in the Summer of 2018.
