It has been recently reported that Sega is working with Paramount Pictures to produce a Sonic the Hedgehog movie in 2019. This is some that comes as a surprise to many people considering the fact that we have not seen a Sonic the Hedgehog movie since the 90’s. Discussion regarding the blur hedgehog making his way back to the big screen reportedly began back in early 2016.

Originally, the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie was supposed to appear in theaters sometime in 2018 before being pushed back to 2019. The fact that we are going to see a Sonic the Hedgehog movie in 2019 is amazing considering the fact that we are most likely going to see a Super Mario movie in 2020.
