When it comes down to RPG titles of the early 00’s Golden Sun was a title that stands out to many retro gamers who owned a Game Boy Advance back in the day. As a GBA title Golden Sun was probably one of the coolest RPG titles that one would ever play. In America Golden Sun was not only critically acclaimed as an RPG title but it the game had managed to sell roughly three quarters of a million copies within the country.

On the SNES console Golden Sun could of ended up being more popular than it was during the early 00’s. But at the same time there were countless RPG titles such a Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia that Golden Sun would have to compete with back in the 90’s. It’s quite possible that Golden Sun could have been easily overshadowed if it was released back in the 16 bit era of gaming.
