As many people have already heard we are finally going to get an HD Remastered version of the first three Spyro the Dragon games for the PS4 in the third quarter of 2018. While its pretty cool we are going to get to see the Spyro the Drago Trilogy for the PS4 it’s still questionable on whether or not they will be featured on additional consoles such as the Xbox One or the Nintendo Switch.

When it comes down to the Spyro Trilogy reviving an HD Remake many people would probably agree that it should of happened years ago. But then again the 20th anniversary of the Spyro series is coming up on September 9th of this year and it’s understandable that Activision has made the decision to release the remastered versions of the first three games in the Fall of 2018.

As we have seen back in the Summer of 2017 the Crash Bandicoot N’ Sane trilogy was a success for the PS4 and managed to sell over 2.5 million units worldwide following its release. Spyro the Dragon was just as popular as Crash Bandicoot was on the PS1 in the late 90’s and early 00’s. In terms of sales the remastered versions of the Spyro the Dragon trilogy looks promising and is something fans of the series will definitely want to check out in the Fall of 2018.
