As many people have heard Marvel vs Capcom Infinite has been dropped from this year’s Capcom Pro Tour. Originally Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was expected to be apart of the Capcom Pro Tour along with Street Fighter V. In terms on why Marvel be Capcom Infinite was excluded from the Capcom Pro Tour is questionable especially since its one of the biggest fighting games that Capcom had back in 2017.

But then again Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was also a game that wasn’t chosen to played in the 2018 Evo event. Some believe that Marvel vs Capcom Infinite not being apart of this year Evo event is due to the popularity of Dragonball FighterZ which is a fighting title that features three on three battles opposed to the two on two gameplay which Marvel vs Capcom Infinite has. While Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is a solid crossover fighting title it may have fell below the expectations of some people. But then again, Marvel vs Capcom 3 was a hard game to try and top in the first place.
