It was back in the year 2010 where the world got to witness the releases of both Super Mario Galaxy along with Sonic Colors which were both on the Wii. Despite, both games being great platform titles for the Nintendo Wii there are many who would probably give the slight edge to Super Mario Galaxy 2 the slight edge over Sonic Colors in terms of overall quality. Not only was Super Mario Galaxy 2 was named “Game of the Year” by multiple publications but some people would argue that it surpassed their expectations as a direct sequel from the original Super Mario Galaxy game.

While Sonic Colors was one of the best 3D platform games in the series that the gaming world has seen since Sonic Adventure 2 it’s not quite as popular a Super Mario Galaxy was in 2010. In fact back in the early 10’s shortly after the release of Sonic Colors many people were hoping for a direct sequel which never happened. As a platform game Sonic Colors is probably one of the main Wii games that people would love to see ported on the Nintendo Switch.
