When it comes down to quality there are many people who believe the the Sega Dreamcast was a much better game console than the PS1 was back in the 90’s. Also, Square didn’t release Xenogears until 1998 which was the same year the game was released in countries like America. While seeing Xenogears on the Dreamcast could have been something that may have worked out and theory and possibly practice Square wasn’t really making games with Sega at all.

If Sony never became apart of the console wars there was a good chance that Square Enix could of ended up working with Sega if the fallout with Nintendo had still occurred. There is no doubt that Xenogears could have worked out on the Sega Dreamcast but it’s questionable whether or not the game would have had as much success as it did on the PS1.
