Sailor Moon Another Story was developed by Angel released exclusively for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1995. Not only was this game exclusively for the SNES back in the mid 90’s but it was only released in Japan which some people may find strange considering how popular the show was during that time period. But at the same time it wasn’t till around 1998 where addition characters such as Sailor Uranus, Neptune and Pluto where introduced in the television series in countries such as America.

If Angel had made the decision to have Sailor Moon Another Story ported for the PS1 and released outside of Japan in 1998 the game could have definitely been a success in various countries. In terms of quality Another Story was better than a majority of the 3D Sailor Moon titles that came out during the 90’s and was an underrated RPG title for its time. There weren’t to many RPG titles that would allow players to use up to five characters in battle simultaneously back in the day and to some people Sailor Moon Another Story stood out because that feature in particular. If the game worked on the SNES there is no doubt that it could have played out well on the PS1.
