It has been recently announced by Nippon Ichi Software that Diseaga: Hour of Darkness will be receiving an HD Remake sometime in the near future. As of right now its unclear what consoles the original Diseaga game will be appearing on; but if one had to take a guess it will most likely PS4 considering the fact that most of the games in the series are featured on PlayStation consoles. There has been speculation that the chances of the original Diseaga game appearing on the Nintendo Switch is slim to none.

However, it would be very interesting to see the original Diseaga game on the hybrid Switch console since it’s an RPG classic along with the amount of popularity the game system has had throughout the past year. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that it’s been at least fourteen years since Diseaga: Hour of Darkness was released back in January of 2003. Having a remake of the original Diseaga game for its upcoming anniversary is something that retro gamers from 00’s will definitely appreciate especially if they were fans of RPG’s during that decade.
