When it comes down to 3D fighting games Ready 2 Rumble Boxing was one of the most popular fighting titles of the late 90’s. Even though, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing was a 3D game with nice gaming mechanics it was also reminiscent of 2D fighting titles of the early 90’s in the sense where players could power up by filling up a power meter that was at the bottom of the screen. Once a player’s Rumble meter filled up they were able to execute special moves which was one of the many features that added to the excitement of the game.

Ready 2 Rumble Boxing also had a roster of interesting characters including Afro Thunder, LuLu Valentine, Big Willie Johnson, Michael Jackson and many others. In terms of quality it’s general debatable which version of the game are is the best between the N64, PS1 and Dreamcast. But despite what console Ready to Rumble Boxing is played on the replay value of this fighting title was high and was generally well received by fans and critics of the game.
