There have been rumors for a while now regarding the idea of a possible Super Mario movie in the near future. It has been reported that Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment have plans on collaborating together to produce an animate movie in 2020. If the rumors are true then it’s a good thing that Nintendo will have more input on this movie opposed to the one that was released in 1993 that was heavily criticized by many people.

With the popularity of the Nintendo Switch and the success of games like Super Mario Odessey seeing Mario on the big screen again is something that gaming world is looking forward to. It been about fourteen years since we have seen a Super Mario movie and if Shigeru Miyamoto serves as the producer for this next film then it will most likely be a masterpiece.
