When it comes down to RPG titles from the 00’s one of the classics that comes to mind is Skies of Arcadia which was developed by Overworks and released for the Sega Dreamcast and the Nintendo GameCube.  The cool think about Skies of Arcadia was the fact that it had the same vibe of that of a Final Fantasy game but at the same time had its own unique story and gameplay that made it stand out from other RPG games.  While Skies of Arcadia might not have been on the same level as other RPG titles such as the Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest or the Persona series it was still praised by many fans and critics for its quality.

The idea of seeing a sequel for Skies of Arcadia is something that many people have dreamed about since the early 00’s.  Now, its been about seventeen years since Skies of Arcadia has been released and people are now starting to think that the series may never make a return.  But then again we will never know because it took over a decade for games like Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and to get a sequel so anything is possible.  If Sega does indeed have an interest in reviving the series it would definitely turn heads in the gaming world while appealing to retro gamers who grew up throughout the 00’s.
