Street Fighter X Tekken was crossover fighting game that the gaming world has been waiting to see since the 90’s.  Ever since 2012 there have been many people who question whether or not Capcom ever plans on re-releasing a remastered version of Street Fighter  X Tekken.  In the past couple of years since Street Fighter X Tekken was first released there has really been no major talk about its possible re-release for a current generation console.  However, there are die hard fans of Street Fighter X Tekken who would love to see it happen simply because as a fighting game it was so much fun to play.  Even though, Street Fighter X Tekken was not as popular as games like Super Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs Capcom 3 or even Tekken 6 it was still one of those games that many retro gamers from the 90’s never though they would see.

In fact the demand to see a remake for Street Fighter X Tekken is so high that a online petition was started a while ago to have the game remastered in future for either the PS4 or the Xbox One.  Street Fighter X Tekken may be one of the only titles where we get to see characters such as Ryu, Kazuya, Chun-Li, Heihachi Mishima, Guile and others all in one game.  If anything an online petition for a remastered version for Street Fighter X Tekken could be considered a testament to how cool this game was and still is following its release back in 2012.
