When Street Fighter IV was released was for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 back in 2008 many people were amazed by the return of the series itself.  During the 00’s it seemed like Capcom was never going to make an official sequel to Street Fighter Alpha 3 leading to many people believing that the series had come to an end.

Shortly, following the release of Street Fighter IV the world got to see Super Street Fighter IV in Spring of 2010 On the PS3 and the Xbox 360.  While Super Street Fighter IV was a commercial success those who owned the Nintendo Wii never got a chance to enjoy this game.  The Nintendo Wii was way more popular than the Wii-U and could have possibly done great in terms of sales.  After all, the Street Fighter II series became popular on the Super Nintendo during the early 90’s  before the Alpha series caught fire on PlayStation during the mid 90’s.  Even if, the Wii version may not have sold as much as the PS3 or the Xbox 360 port of Super Street Fighter IV it definitely would have stood out as a fighting title for that console.
