If you have been a long time fan of the Mega Man series since the 80’s or 90’s then you were just as shocked about Capcom’s recent announcement regarding the upcoming release of Mega Man 11 next year.  The reason why the upcoming game release of Mega Man 11 is surprising is because many people have been waiting for this game since Mega Man 10 came out in the Spring of 2010.

For a while it looked like Capcom had given up hope on the Mega Man series and that we were never going to see a sequel to Mega Man 10.  One of the most interesting things about Mega Man 11 is the graphics since they move away from the 8 bit look which was used in many games in the past.  While the game is still 2D Mega Man 11 utilizes 3D backgrounds for stages which is interesting to say the least.  Not only has Capcom managed to shock the gaming world with the announcement of Mega Man 11 but it’s also hard to believe that the series has been around for three decades now.  One of the best parts about this announcement is the fact that Mega Man 11 is supposed to be available for multiple game consoles including the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and he Xbox One.
