X-Men Mutant Apocalypse is probably one of the most popular X-Men games of the 16 bit era.  As great as X-Men Mutant Apocalypse was for the SNES some wonder whether or not the game would have worked for the Sega Genesis.  The sprites and the graphics of X-Men Mutant Apocalypse makes the game itself an instant classic.

But if X-Men Mutant Apocalypse was released for more than one game console it probably would not be as valuable as it currently is.  The fact that X-Men Mutant Apocalypse was an SNES exclusive is probably one of the few things that makes this 16 bit title stand out from other platform/beat em up video games.  While we did not get X-Men Mutant Apocalypse for the Sega Genesis we did still manage to get to X-Men games for the Genesis back in the early 90’s.  While X-Men Mutant Apocalypse was fun to play for the SNES it would have been cool to see it on the Sega Genesis back in the early 90’s.
