It’s no surprise to many people that the Nintendo Switch has surpassed the likes of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in terms of monthly sales in August 2017.  The momentum that the Nintendo Switch has gained since its release back in March 2017 seemed to be growing as the year progresses into 2018.

The Nintendo Switch has been beaten twice in monthly sales by the PS4 in May and June 2017.  However, the console has still managed to do great in sales with titles such as Splatoon 2, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and others.  While there are many great titles that are currently on the Nintendo Switch we are still waiting for games such Sonic Mania, Super Mario Odyssey and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to appear on the hybrid console in the future.
