If you were a fan of the Castlevania series in the past then you might enjoy Bloodstained Ritual of the Night which is expected to be released for game consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in March 2017.  The cool think about this Bloodstained is that the game is going to be produced by Koji Igarashi.

During the late 90’s and throughout the 00’s Koji Igarashi has worked on games such as Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin along with co-producing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.   While some are sad to see Igarashi’s departure from Konami others view it as a blessing in disguise.   In terms of how well Bloodstained of the Night will in sales there are many people who are optimistic about the game itself considering the fact that it will be available for multiple consoles in 2018.  Also, the game has an interesting plot along with the inclusion of 2.5 dimensional graphics which is something that fans of the old school Castlevania titles might find appealing.

One response to “Will Bloodstained Ritual of the Night be a major success in 2018?”

  1. Greetings, IGA was not attached to Circle of the Moon, and it shows, the two other games on the GBA, Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow, both had a prettier map-design, fluid animations and great set of items and monsters. In general, it was like night and day for the most hardcore fans. IGA begged for making more Castlevania games, until he got to make those two and some Nintendo projects thereafter.
