If you were s huge fan of Neo Geo games in the past then you will be happy to know that Samurai Showdown Special is going to be re-released for the PS4 in the near future.  The Samurai Showdown series is one that was definitely overshadowed in the 90’s and the early 00’s due to the popularity of many fighting games such as Mortam Kombat, Tekken, Soul Calibur, etc. When the original Samurai Showdown V game was released back in 2004 too many people around the world didn’t know too much about it since it was an exclusive title for the Neo Geo back in 2004.

While the Neo Geo was not too popular in America due to high prices for games and the console itself the older games were so much fun to play in arcade centers back in the 90’s.  For anyone who yearns for nostalgic 2D arcade fighting titles Samurai Showdown V Special is definitely a retro 2D title to be on the lookout for in the near future.
