As of right now its too early to tell how the Xbox One X will do in terms of sales but with a starting price of $499 its quite hard to think that the console will be flying off shelves in  retail stores such as GameStop and Best Buy in November 2017.  When the Xbox One was first released back in late 2013 Microsoft had managed to sell over one million consoles within 24 hours with the same exact price of $499.  While some people might argue that the pricing for the Xbox One X is too expensive others would argue that its fair since its not as expensive as the original Xbox One in terms of cost.  In 2013,  Microsoft had managed to reach over 3 million units worldwide in terms of sales which was an impressive feat.

The Xbox One X is a stronger system in comparison to the Xbox One and has amazing visual features such as 4K, 1080p display along with being able to run 60 frames per second.    While the Nintendo Switch is more affordable there is a good chance that the Xbox One X will still prove to be a major threat to it along with the release of the PlayStation Neo which is expected to be released worldwide sometime in the near future.
