The Forza series has arguably the most popular set of games in the when it comes down to the racing genre for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.  While the Forza Motorsport series is still very popular many people have their preference in terms of which game they like the most.   But in terms of sales Forza Motorsport 3 & 4 had sold the most worldwide since their respective releases.   Since 2009, Forza Motorsport 3 had managed to sell over 5 million units worldwide for the Xbox 360.   The sales for Forza Motorsport 3 was actually an improvement from the numbers regarding the prequel which did over 4 million worldwide following its release back in 2007.  One of the coolest things about Forza Motorsport 3 included an all new singe player season mode along with flashback feature which originally became popular on the Race Driver: Grid game released back in 2007.

When Forza Motorsport 4 was released the season mode was similar to its sequel which added to the game’s appeal.   Along with having a nice season mode there were multiple race options including autocross, drift and multiple heat races.  The Kinect feature for Forza Motorsport 4 was something that was interesting yet expensive since it was released a year before the game was released back in 2010.   Some would say that one of the reasons why recent Forza Motorsport games has dipped in sales in comparison to the early 10’s was due to the development of the Horizon series which started in 2012.  Despite, the fact that recent Forza Motorsport games have not sold as much as their predecessors the sales for some of the latest titles still remains in the millions.  Also, the gameplay for Forza Motorsport 5 & 6 seem fantastic and received praise from critics fans alike following their respective releases.
