Many people are excited about the upcoming release of Star Wars Battlefront II later this year in November.  Many people know that Star Wars Battlefront II is an exciting first and third person action adventure shooter game that will be featured on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.  It would be pretty cool to have a game like this on the Nintendo Switch but there is always that possibity that Star Wars Battlefront II will be overshadowed by games such as Mario Kart Deluxe 8 and the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

 However, the Star Wars series has been around for a very long time and would easily appeal to casual gamers similar to how the Super Mario Bros series has.  In terms of popularity Star Wars is arguably bigger than the Super Mario series especially outside of the gaming industry.  In terms of sales it would be questionable to see how Star Wars Battlefront II would do on the Nintendo Switch considering the fact that it’s a shooter title leans more towards adults than kids in terms of appeal.        

While there has not been much talk about the game being on the Switch console there has been a lot of talk about the Virtual Reality based content for Star Wars Battlefront II for the PS4.  It will be interesting to see what happens between now and the fall of 2017.
