Zelda Skyward Sword (1)

When it comes down to video games in the Legend of Zelda series a majority of them are simply masterpieces.  If you were to ask anyone who has been a fan of the Legend of Zelda series since the 80’s and early 90’s on which game is their all time favorite it would probably be difficult for them to answer.  But if we were to narrow it down between the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword then the responses among people in regards to which game is better would be polarized.   Both Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword were great Zelda games but in terms sales one obviously did way better than the other.

Zelda Twilight Princess (2)

In fact when it comes down the Legend of Zelda series as a whole Twilight Princess is the best selling title of all time.  Since its release Twilight Princess has sold over 7 million units worldwide for the Nintendo Wii while the HD Remix by itself managed to sell over one million on the Wii-U  There were so many things about Twilight Princess that was awesome including the visual presentation along with the soundtrack which captured the vibe of the game perfectly.   Twilight Princess had cool soundtracks such as Midna’s Lament, Gerudo Desert and Hidden Villege which were beautifully composed along with having beautiful cinematic cutscenes the made the game feel like a movie at times.  The inclusion of having Gannondof as the main villain in the game was fun since it was reminiscent of some of the older Legend of Zelda games.  Also, the concept of Zelda becoming a werewolf in the game was not only interesting but it was an element in the storyline that was unexpected which added more excitement to this title overall.

Zelda Skyward Sword (3)

As far as Zelda: Skyward Sword is concerned this game was also fun for many people because unlike Twilight Princess the game looked and felt like it had a lighter tone. Also, Skyward Sword presented players with an exciting plot with a new set of villains including Ghirahim and Demise.   While Zelda: Skyward Sword did not feel quite as dark as Twilight Princess the villains in this game seemed like they were more dastardly than Ganondorf in Twilight Princess.   While Zelda: Skyward Sword had amazing visual quality along with an excellent storyline similar to Twilight Princess it would be difficult to choose pick between one of the two games.  However, people want to rate which game is better based mainly off of worldwide sales than more fans of the series might be inclined to move closer to the decade old Twilight Princess title opposed to Skyward Sword.
