Final Fantasy XV

As many of us know Final Fantasy was released for multiple game consoles such as Xbox One and PlayStation during November 2016.  Since Final Fantasy XV came out in 2016 many people had wondered whether or not the game would have been released for the Nintendo Switch in 2017.  Even though, the director of Final Fantasy XV Hajime Tabata was impressed by the Nintendo Switch console he announced that the game would not be available for that console in 2017.   However, whether or not Final Fantasy XV would have done well on the Nintendo Switch is definitely an interesting topic considering the fact that the console is considered to be stronger than the Wii-U.  Despite, the Nintendo Switch being a more superior console than the Wii-U some would argue that its not quite as powerful as the Xbox One or the PlayStation 4.  Also, when it came down to games for the Nintendo Switch The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was basically the main attraction for that console.  In terms of sales Final Fantasy XV has sold the most on the PlayStation 4 by reaching over 4.4 million units worldwide within four months.

While the sales for Final Fantasy XV for the Xbox One pale in comparison to that of the PS4 some might say the game did not need a release for the Nintendo Switch.  In fact, the Nintendo Switch has done great since its release in early Marach and has many big titles such as Sonic Mania and Super Mario Odyssey coming out later in 2017.  Considering the fact that Final Fantasy XV came out a few months before the release of the Nintendo Switch other game consoles would have already had the advantage in terms of sales.  Also, despite the Nintendo Switch being available at a more affordable price the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One included more storage space that was included within the console.  While the basic versions of the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One started off with 500 GB of storage space  the Nintendo Switch only included 32 GB.  While Final Fantasy XV did the best in terms of sales for the PlayStation 4 there are still many people who definitely would have enjoyed a potential release for the Nintendo Switch as well.
