If there was ever an MMORPG title that deserved an American release its Phantasy Star Online 2.  The Phantasy Star series is considered to be legendary by many people who grew during a time period when it first started back in the late 80’s for the Sega Genesis.  Since the late 80’we witnessed the evolution of the series as a whole and the development of the original Phantasy Star Online game for the Sega Dreamcast back in the early 00’s.  Ever since the original Phantasy Star Online game was released many were impressed by the visual aspects of the game.   When Phantasy Star Online 2 was released exclusively in Japan over four years ago it looked like a game that many people can easily get into.  Even though, the Phantasy Star series had started off as a turn based RPG back in 80’s and remained that way through most of the 90’s the MMORPG games have remained to be highly impressive during the 00’s and the early 10’s.  When the original Phantasy Star Online game was released back in the early 00’s it was eventually released in America shortly after it arrived in Japanese gaming markets.

Why Sega has decided not to release Phantasy Star Online 2 in America still remains to be a mystery but many people that it would be great if it did happen.  Seeing a game like Phantasy Star Online 2 on the PlayStation 4 or even the Xbox One would be amazing because the series itself is one of the coolest next to Final Fantasy which has also been around since the 80’s.  Even though, Square Enix has developed more games for the Final Fantasy series since its inception Phantasy Star is just as exciting to most people.  The only thing about the Phantasy Star series is that many people probably wished that Sega had made more games in the past along with the possibility of making title in the future.  Whether or not Sega decides to develop a new Phantasy Star Online game in the future remains to be seen.  The main question that is on the minds of many is whether or not Phantasy Star Online 2 will ever be released in America.
