The pre-orders for the PS5 Flex Strike is expected to start mid August around the 15th. While the design for the PS5 Flex Strike looks impressive it would be hard to believe that many people would pay around $200 for a brand new wireless

control stick. There is no question that Sony is trying to profit off the PlayStation 5 as much as they can before they move on the PS6. The PS5 Flex Strike is not something that is necessary to enjoy video games for the PlayStation 5. However, the Flex Strike is something that would make a great collectors item especially since the cost of gaming is constantly on the rise. The biggest is regarding the PS5 Flex Strike is that it might end up becoming a target for scalpers who might sell the wireless fight stick for double the price online. But then again more people are more preoccupied with survival to a point where investing in Sony’s new fight stick might not be a priority. It should also be noted that Sony will be removing PS4 games from the PlayStation Plus in January 2026. Players not being able to enjoy PS4 games on the PlayStation’s online network could drive people away from their subscriptions. While Sony is doing everything they can to make customers focus on the current generation of video games they also need to be reasonable with their pricing also.
