Hollow Knight: Sliksong is an upcoming indie game developed and published by Team Cherry that is set to be released sometime later in 2025. Hollow Knight: Silksong is set to appear on multiple game systems including the PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch. One of the reasons why Sliksong is such as big deal because its the sequel to the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight title from 2017. Similar to the original Hollow Knight the upcoming Silksong game will be a 2D metroidvania, action-adventure fighting game. During the past few years it was widely believed that Hollow Knight: Silksong was in developmental hell but those rumors had been debunked online within the past year or so. One of the reasons why it has taken Team Cherry to develop Hollow Knight: Sliksong is because the group only consists of three people. It has also been rumored that Sliksong is supposed to be a bigger game than Hollow Knight also. As it currently stands the rating for Hollow Knight: Silksong is still pending and the game has no official price tag just yet. As far as indie games are concerned Silksong is an indie title that the gaming world has been waiting to see for almost a decade now. Silksong has the potential to be one of the best indie titles of the 2020’s decade.
