It seems like Acclaim Entertainment will be making its return to the gaming industry in the near future. Acclaim Entertainment is a video game publisher that has been dead for more than twenty years due to the business filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy back in 2004. Acclaim Entertainment was an American video game publisher that was responsible for publishing some of the most iconic video games from the 90’s. Acclaim Entertainment was responsible publishing titles like the Turok and the NBA Jam series.

The word going around is that Acclaim Entertainment is expected to return as a indie game publisher while focusing on original IPs. The last time Acclaim Entertainment was in business its main headquarters was located in Glen Cove, NY. We are not sure whether or not Acclaim Entertainment’s main headquarters will be in New York if the publisher will have a new office in a different location. It should be noted that the revitalized Acclaim will see Alex Josef as the CEO of the company and will feature an advisory board that consists of Mark Caplain the founder of Ridge Partners along with Russell Binder the founding partner of Striker Entertainment and Jeff Jarrett who started up Global Force Entertainment over a decade ago. Hopeful we will have more details about Acclaim Entertainment’s plans for the future later in 2025.
