Everyone is already looking for to the next major installment in the WWE 2K franchise which is expected to be released sometime during Q1 2025. It has been revealed that WWE 2K25 will be appearing on game systems such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. We also learned that WWE 2K25 will also be appearing on last generation game consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Similar to previous installments WWE 2K25 will be developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. WWE 2K25 is a game will follow the WWE 2K24 from last year a title which many gamers praised. WWE 2K24 had a stacked roster of at least 250 wrestlers from the shows Raw, Smackdown and NXT. WWE 2K24 also brought back some popular matches types from older games including Guest Referee, Casket, Gauntlet and even War Games which was introduced in WWE 2K23. WWE 2K24 introduced a brand new match type known as the Ambulance Match which a decision that was praised by die hard WWE fans. Similar to WWE 2K24 we can expect all those things to return in WWE 2K25 along with MyRise and Showcase Mode.

We are still currently in the dark about what the theme is going to be for Showcase Mode or which Superstars its going to revolve around. While there is still a lot we don’t know about in relation to WWE 2K25 certain Superstars have already been confirmed for the game itself. We have seen screenshots of WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Bayley, Liv Morgan and Damian Priest so far and are expecting more to emerge of different Superstars along with gameplay footage. We are expecting an expansion on the Backstage Brawl Mode which 2K Sports did a good on in WWE 2k24 along with the return with MyGM mode. WWE 2K24 had received a Metascore of “81” since its release last year which is one point lower than what WWE 2K23 got which “82”. There many people who have high hopes for WWE 2K25 a game that looks promising and has the potential to outshine its predecessors.
