Street Fighter 6 is currently one of the most popular fighting video games in retail right now especially in countries like America and Japan. So far Street Fighter has only managed to reach roughly around 3 million copies in sales. While Street Fighter 6 has done okay so far in terms of commercial success its safe to say that it fell below Capcom’s initial expectations in terms of numbers. There are many who believe that Street Fighter 6 should have sold more than it did. But it seems like Capcom is trying to get more gamers interested in Street Fighter 6 by bring back old characters like M. Bison and Elena. Capcom is even collaborating with SNK to bring in top names from the Fatal Fury/KOF series like Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui. The gameplay trailer for Terry Bogard looks impressive and this might be the closest thing we are going to get in relation to another SNK vs Capcom. Terry Bogard will not be an available character for Street Fighter 6 until September 24th of 2024. Mai Shiranui will not be a playable character in Street Fighter 6 until Winter 2025. Terry Bogard is a character that will definitely draw the interest of long time SNK fans and those who have been following the KOF series since the 90’s.
