Shadow the Hedgehog has been one of the most popular names affiliated with Sega since the 2000’s and has recently been getting more attention as of late. As it currently stands Shadow the Hedgehog will be appearing in the upcoming Sonic X Shadow Generations game which is set to be released in October 2024. Apparently, Shadow the Hedgehog is going to be featured in more projects in the future aside from the Sonic X Shadow Generations game as rumors have been swirling around online about the black hedgehog possibly getting his own manga. According to My Nintendo News the new Sonic manga series called “Shadow the Hedgehog” will start in Corocoro Comic issue 10/2024. At the moment there are no extensive details on what do expect in the upcoming Shadow the Hedgehog comic or what possible storylines it will feature. It should be noted that earlier in the year SEGA had announced that 2024 was supposed to be the Year of Shadow meaning that the company most likely has bigger plans for him in the future. A manga series is something that will give Shadow the Hedgehog more public exposure to casual gamers along with the general audience of comic book fans. Sega should have invested more time and money promoting Shadow the Hedgehog back in the 2000’s following the release of Sonic Adventure 2. Shadow’s decline in.popularity over years something that Sega could rectify by placing more emphasis on his character development in an upcoming manga series.
