It seems like 2024 is just filled with surprises in relation to gaming news and announcements. Not only was the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 spectacular but this year’s Nintendo Direct Presentation also had many surprises as well including the announcement of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. While there are numerous games that have been confirmed to appear on multiple consoles later in 2024 and 2025 no one expected Capcom’s announcement regarding the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection. This upcoming video game collection will feature some of Capcom’s the most popular 2D arcade fighting titles of the 90’s.

The Marvel vs Capcom: Fighting Collection will feature

  • The Punisher
  • X-Men Children of the Atom
  • Marvel Super Heroes
  • X-Men vs Street Fighter
  • Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter
  • Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes

Every single game that will be included in the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection are games that almost everyone wanted to see re-released on current generation game systems for many years. There are many who are excited about the fact that the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection will be appearing on the Nintendo Switch and most likely PlayStation 5. Its highly doubtful that the MvC Fighting Collection will be appearing on the Xbox Series X but its possible that it could appear on PC later down the line. The official release date for the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection has yet to be revealed but its expected to be released before the end of 2024.
