There is no question that God of War Ragnarok has been one of the biggest attractions on the PlayStation 5 since its release back in late 2022. Since its release God of War: Ragnarok has easily become one of the best selling video games for the PlayStation reaching at least 15 million copies. Considering the fact God of War: Ragnarok was published by Sony Interactive Entertainment many people never expected the game to get ported to PC. As it currently stands God of War: Ragnarok is set to be released for PC in Fall 2024 on September 19th. One of the possibly reasons why God of War: Ragnarok is appearing on PC is because Microsoft is currently trying to build good business relationships with Sony and Nintendo following their victory for the Federal Trade Commission relation to the antitrust lawsuit. Not only has Microsoft been collaborating with Sony more but they also signed a ten-year deal with Nintendo to bring more Call of Duty games to future generation consoles. God of War: Ragnarok could potentially surpass its 2018 predecessor in sales which reached around 20 million if released on PC. Its unlikely we are going to get a brand new God of War game anytime in the near future because Sony is still profiting of off the Ragnarok game as we speak.
