Injustice 2 was released for the PlayStaton 4 and Xbox One back in 2017 and since then it ended up being one of the most popular video games of the late 2010’s. The storyline of Injustice 2 followed the conclusion of the prequel which was released in 2013. The story for Injustice 2 involved Batman’s Insurgency trying to restore society following the damage that Superman and his One World Regime did in the previous game. The original Injustice game ended with Superman being imprisoned for his crimes against humanity following his defeat. However, Batman was forced to release Superman from imprisonment after a new threat in the form of Brainiac and “The Society” arrives the wreak havoc. The Injustice 2 video game has twelve chapters with two endings and we have not seen a sequel for this title ever since its release. While we did get a film adaptation for the original Injustice game back in ’21 we never got to see a movie for the Injustice 2 game. The Injustice movie from ’21 got a mixed reception from DC fans and critics who thought that it was rushed despite being faithful to game. While an Injustice 2 film adaptation is something that sounds exciting it seems like the series has been forgotten about in the past year or so. In fact, there are more people who would rather see Injustice 3 which could end up being one most highly anticipated fighting titles of all-time.
